Methods
- The Character Box - We give children at Catch a Falling Star their very own character box. The character box is a representation of their behavior. The children are responsible for maintaining their character box. Good behaviors fill up the character box; bad behavior reduces the character box.
- "Use Your Words" - We emphasize the importance for children to "use their words." Each child learns this at a different pace. We work with the child who is learning their very first word to the child who is learning how to express their emotions with strength and confidence instead of anger and frustration
